I really wouldn't be surprised if it gets delayed. But Nintendo are in a difficult situation. They are missing the holiday season this year, the PS4 Pro will be out before the NX and if they delay the NX til holiday 2017 they will have the Scorpio to compete with also as well as disgruntled Nintendo enthusiasts whom have been waiting so long. I know Nintendo doesn't really target the same audience that Sony and MS do but there is some overlap.
