The article doesn't point to any evidence to suggest a delay. Most tech companies do not unveil their product until close to launch. Even Sony didn't announce or unveil the PS4 Pro until two months before. Apple just weeks before. If Nintendo unveils in January, that's still PLENTY of time until March.
The later they unveil it, the closer the hype boom is to the launch. The notion that consoles MUST launch X number of months after launch is a stupid myth. All Forbes has to go on is a stupid myth.
