I've seen it on this forum for months as well as around Dtoid for the past 3.

Actually I don't, I buy games through multiple vendors and on different clients. You don't really seem to understand the difference in freedom of choice here.

reallity is that most PC gamers dont use this freedom of choice and bitch and complain about copetition like Uplay

Do you have statistics about the revenue growth of the different PC-game vendors to back that assertion up?

Do you have statistics about the origin of steam licences? Which percentage of steam licenses are sold directly in the Steam client? How many Steam keys at GMG, Humble Store, Amazon, Indie Gala, Bundle Stars, GamesPlanet, WinGameStore, DLGamer, GamersGate, GamesRepublic, Kinguin, FunStock Digital, GamesRepublic...? How many Steam keys are sold in a retail version? How many were included in bundles or have been sold separately?

Ubisofts digital revenue has more than doubled since last year. EA also had a record quarter of digital revenue. GOG.com is also growing fast.

Reality is, that you know nothing about the chosing habits of the average PC gamer.
