Neither interest me because I don't plan on adopting 4k any time soon. 4k streaming content just isn't there and the only 4k movies worth owning are The Revanent, Creed, Sicario and Mad Max and a few others that are upcoming. Just not enough.
In 2017. if multiplats continue to be superior on the PS4, I will pick up a vanilla PS4. If the scorpio turns out to be good and improve graphics across the board (regardless of 4K) then I will pick up one when the price is right.
On the actual hardware itself, PS4P seems like a complete misfire in terms of specs and features. The marketing gurus at Sony will be hard at work spinning this one. Its ugly as sin too.
The Scorpio is a complete misfire too. Yes, the specs seem good, but do the mass consumers really want a 4K disc drive and if the cost is more than $500, its going to be a complete flop.
