Surely they wouldn't change the story as well? The battle system is bad enough as is, but if they change the story as well then it wouldn't even be a remake anymore. Just a new game featuring Cloud and co. Could maybe call it Cloud Returns: Final Fantasy

This is Square, they will add in everything from the expanded Final Fantasy VII in, and change things up. Even if it is subtle, I do not imagine this being faithful as some think it will be.
