He decided no, but the whole thing about him swearing at MS reps is all bunk. No Japanese businessman worth his salt acts like that, there are levels of professionalism and a decorum to Japanese business, even among stern people like Yamauchi. He would never insult a fellow very successful businessman Bill Gates in that way. 

Microsoft was simply told "no" after after Yamauchi studied the offer for about a week and that was that. 

The "kiss my ass" and "lick my balls" type stuff ... lol, maybe in a South Park TV episode, not so much in real life. 

Even after that just for the record Bill Gates said in 2004 that any call from Mr. Yamauchi was to go directly to him personally, he was still interested in buying Nintendo.
