MS tried to turn the tide this generation, throwing around big words to mask their commercial failure (after all the Xone should have been the death stab for Sony in the console market). They failed. Miserably. They might try whatever they want but generation will still go on at least for the next one. They are not the ones who dictate this. Sony is, and until they maintain their current approach, they will do so in the foreseeable future.
