NX makes perfect sense to be upgradable if they're going to do the hybrid thing. Just buy a new dock, plug and play, if you want better graphics then you can pay more.
It's a fair compromise for ALL users, rather than locking in people to lower end graphics for 5+ years for no good reason.
Also there are rumors that Microsoft's Scorpio is a modular, upgradable console.
You just have to make it easy and simple to upgrade, plug and play, just like the N64 Expansion Pak, even easier than that if need be.
