| Soundwave said: I still honestly personally like it better than the Wii. Even in third party support, I'd say Zombi U, Rayman, Call of Duty: BLOPS2, Batman: Arkham City, Assassin's Creed 3/IV, Watch Dogs, Deus Ex, Tekken Tag, Need For Speed, are just from a *quality* standpoint as good if not better than the best Wii third party games. 100 million units doesn't mean a whole lot when it doesn't translate to better content for the player. Don't get me wrong, I have several big issues with the system and Nintendo made a lot of stupid decisions with it, but honestly I think I enjoyed it more than Wii. The main things that really blew me away on Wii were the two Galaxy games and Xenoblade I guess ...? But Mario 3D World, Splatoon, and Mario Kart 8 more than hold their own with that trio. |
I feel the opposite, that Wii was a lot better than Wii U.
The Galaxy games destroy 3D World, it had a proper, high quality Metroid in Prime 3, Xenoblade 1 was better than X, it had two great Zeldas, (one of which was available at launch) and it was still getting the likes of Monster Hunter Tri, Goldeneye 007, Sonic Colours/Racing, Call of Duty, etc in its fourth year, whereas Wii U's third party support was nonexistent after the first 12 months.
At this point I've bought pretty much everything I'm interested in for both consoles, (excepting Breath of the Wild and Yooka Laylee on Wii U, if they even end up releasing on the system) and my Wii collection is far larger than my Wii U one.
