So is it wrong to expect AAA games on an expensive platform when games cost $60 mostly and above $40 in general? I would never buy a console for indie or mid tier games, and I would never buy these games at $40, maybe $20.

When no one else is making AAA games, Nintendo should have done it but yet they don't and both their mid tier games and remasters of single games cost too much.

And your original comment stated that Sony and MS haven'tr made as many games as Nintendo this gen, but that is because they don't have as many low budget titles and both PS4 and XB1 are getting many more in the future, all the while having tons of third party games of a variety of genres.

Nintendo didnt make many AAA games for the Wii either. Their games dont need a 50M budget to be good. Tropical Freeze, Pikmin 3, Captain Toad, Splatoon etc. proves that.

There are many good indie games too doesn't mean they are system sellers or even worth my time when there are better games. Captain Toad is one of those mid tier games I'm talking about. Tropical Freeze is a 2D platformer that I can never consider worth more than $20. Splatoon is a good game, but I enjoy Overwatch more.

Sony and MS have many good games that are worth spending $60 and most of these Nintendo games just aren't worth that. Big production values can change how a game feels, any tier of game can be good but bigger budgets are often used to make them memorable as well. I've played some good games on smartphones too doesn't mean I'd buy them.
