Not being fondly remember as another title doesn't mean it's not remembered as a good game, the argument you're pushing here is it's not as fondly remembered as much as one of the other best games in history so it's a problem. It's like saying Deus Ex MD will not be as fondly remembered as the original like it's a problem when the game in question is stilla really good game being compared to one of history's greats.

Games like Galaxy only come once in a while it's one of the few games with a rating that matches OOT, your argument would be like complaining that Ronaldo is not as good as Pele in this instance as like 3DW or not I can't really think of a better 3D platformer this gen tbh.

Mainline Mario games are typically considered masterpieces, so for ones like Sunshine and 3D World not to be, they are sub-par by series standards.
