I can just see the devs now.
Publisher: "OK Nintendo, here's our lineup of NX titles for launch until 2019. We have 23 games total, we're really excited!"
Nintendo: "Oh, those dev kits? Those aren't real, We'll send you the real kits tomorrow!"
Publisher: "WHAT?!?! What do you mean not real?!?!? We've set up teams, studio space, and hired hundreds of new staff! We've already sunk 144 MILLION EURO ON THOSE NX GAMES!!!!!"
Nintendo: "Good joke isn't it? We spent 90 million on putting together those dev kits."
Publisher: "WHY!?!? WHY?!?! WHHHHYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?"
Nintendo: "To fuck with our fans."
