Honestly, I still don't get the whole "1080p vs 720p is night and day" claims.

I own a mix of both 1080p and 720p games, and I can jump from playing Captain Toad Treasure Tracker at 720p to Smash Bros U at 1080p, or Rayman Legends at 1080p to Tropical Freeze at 720p, and the difference is negligible.

I mean, I get it if you're playing on a monitor 30cm in front of your face, or on a 70" TV, but when I sit on my couch 3 meters from my 48" LED, 720p looks fine.
