Because some films appeal to both: like Inception and Mad Max. But the top hipster movies since 2000 are all on this list. But this list is clearly missing some of the greatest movies of the time period, Lord of the Rings as an example. On any normal list, Lord of the Rings, or at least one of the trilogy, would be top 10. But hipsters don't like it, so it doesn't even make the top 100, instead they put on crap movies like Spring Breakers.
