Yeah, the tracker is so broken that its unbelievable. That and I had a 10km egg and it was .3km from hatching when it disappeared and was never to be seen again e.e I got fed up with that glitch when it happened a second time that I just quit 

Update incoming today, that might help the tracker side of things, and maybe the egg side of the thing. Also sometimes the egg hatches, you should check recent to see if it actually disappeared.
