It's just unfair to count NLG out when they were forced to not make a regular Metroid game AND it was on a Handheld AND the concept wasn't made by them. Plus I suggested to make Monolith Soft developers work alongside NLG since they are used to creating alien creatures and Robot-like suits and weapons in their games...

Just give the whole project to Monolith Soft I reckon, or make it a coproduction between EAD and a top-tier third party. Frankly, I just don't think NLG are up to the task, they've never made a game in the same league as the Prime trilogy.
