If the NX has a SCD it will be included, if the history of the last several generations is any indication, if an add-on isn't included in box that more often that naught it will not be supported. There are very few add-ons that came separately that were widely support, and mot of them kind of waned in the end, the only one that I know that was wildly successful was the rumble pack. The Kinect was initially supported but then all but disappeared.
If they do do several SKU's there will be three and the one that has both the NX and the SCD will be the focal point of the advertising push, and be the one that is more plentiful, hopefully. The three would be the one with both. The one marketed as a handheld, the the SCD for the poor fools that bought just the handheld.
