I temporarily gave up on Dark Souls but I want to go back to it and restart if from the beginning as it's been awhile and I could probably level up the stats of my character a bit better the next time around.
There's actually alot of games that I just gave up on out of shear boredom... Kingdom Hearts II and Skyward Sword immediately come to mind as you have to slog your way through the early portions of each game, and neither really held my interest for very long to make me want to push forward and invest more time in them.
I also had to force myself to finish many 1st / 3rd person shooter campaigns, like BF Bad Company 2, Gears 3, Halo Reach, and COD MW3. Alot of shooter campaigns just feel more like a chore these days. I haven't played the new Doom yet but I hear good things about it.
