In that setup, it would be like having a compact Wii U with a gamepad attached to it on the "go" and at home it would be detached with console part in docking and screen/controller (or gamepad) in user' hands. That would mean that the pluggable main body would be the NX itself and all the rest add-ons.


I'm not sure if Nintendo would go with that setup. But it seems that is what Soundwave is thinking.

In that setup, there wouldn't be detachable controllers but the main unit would be the one that would be removable, leaving you with the controls and a screen that wouldn't work, as the hardware to make it work would be docked to the TV.

I don't see this setup working.
