Sure Nintendo needs to treat the Metroid franchise better but come on people. Don't mess with their IPs. Just because some fan made it doesn't make it any different than if a company made it. It's not their IP, so don't do anything with it.
Just because it's fan made doesn't mean it's immune to getting taken down.
