I've been exploring a very barren planet, but indeed the caves look a lot like Santa's grotto. The game said something about a flash light at night on the first planet I was on, yet haven't found a need for it yet.

What kinda annoys me is that it takes no effort to find anything, the whole planet is full of more or less evenly spaced structures. Do I land here, or there, does it matter. Is there variation on planets or simply a even distribution of a set of structures. Anyway I can't really judge the game yet based on 2 planets. First comes the grind to get a better ship with more inventory space. So far it's more a game of inventory management than exploration. Why do bypass modules not stack, why are there locked doors, where is the planetary system map (does it exist or are all the planets in visual range every where?)

Maybe I'm playing it wrong and should be planet/system hopping around with full on ADD, instead of OCD exploring one planet at a time and trying to buy a better ship.

You can bring up the galaxy map when you leave the atmosphere by pressing down on the dpad I think.

I'm not too bothered about the colours. I've been to two planets and the first one was mostly purple and green. The second planet was a like a desert, mostly brown but with colour thrown in with vegetation. Even all the ruins I found were grey and gold / brown.

I'm having a lot of fun learning the language and history of geks etc. However, we need more inventory space and stacking needs to be a thing as well as being able to make fuel canisters and then stack them.

Most my inventory is filled with Carbon, Plutonium and Tharmium as you constantly run out of carbon when you recharge your gun etc. You run out of plutonium very quickly by flying and I fly a lot from location to location as it's quicker and Tharmium is needed or I'll be traveling for hours or even days to reach certain locations.
