That wasn't what you did.  You responded to sound with 3DS footage when he clearly stated "presumably PS4 version ported."  He is aware that we don't know, and the teaser trailer didn't really seem to show anything that seemed it was definitely gameplay, unless I'm remembering it incorrectly.

Presumably... but based on what?

His arguement relies on his assumption that it ll get a game the PS4 has, and runs on the same graphic settings and resolution.

My point was he shouldnt assume that, the same game can run on a 3DS.

Just because the NX is getting it, doesnt mean the NX is going to be some graphical powerhouse.

NateDrake at NeoGaf who's quite respected and verified as a source has said the NX is running Pascal-based processor from Nvidia. This is significant because Pascal is the architecture that is a successor to Maxwell (which is what a Tegra X1 is). The Tegra X1 is also actively cooled in the NX dev kits according to Eurogamer, which could indicate that it's only a placeholder for a future custom (Tegra X2?) chip.

Having Dragon Quest XI and Sonic 2017 already announced for it also does lead me to infer that PS4/XB1 are probably possible here, because those two games are PS4/XB1-only. If it can only run PS3-Wii U games, then why does it appear to have two PS4/XB1 games announced for it already?

Also, this source from MCV straight up says "between" a PS3 and PS4. Well that could easily mean 500, 600, 700 GFLOPS performance. If it was a portable PS3, I'm inclined to think the source would simply have just said "a souped up PS3". Once you get into performance above a PS3, yes XB1/PS4 ports certainly become an option.

And while people will say "you can't just scale GFLOPS and RAM bandwidth like that", it is still true that rendering any game at 1/4th or 1/3rd the resolution requires a massively lower amount of hardware resources any way you slice it.

We don't know what memory setup Nintendo will use, even the 3DS has embedded higher speed RAM which is something most people don't know. Maybe they could be using something like an extremely small pool of eDRAM or even HBM RAM (in the range of say 32MB).

We don't know what the spec is yet, but it's actual more speculation to say the roof of the NX is only PS3-style games. That's just an assumption right now too.
