That's a company that are aiming to make a profit from that unit, not a huge company on Nintendo's level that can buy that tech for way less than retail cost, Nintendo has leverage because they would be able to buy in huge, sustained volume.

Yeah getting a huge battery for cheap isn't really going to be a problem. I do wonder though how much weight a battery so huge would add to a portable device, and is the battery then integrated onto the base part of the unit or does it somehow sit somewhere else to the main unit can be lighter to hold ... some interesting design decisions for Nintendo to make for sure.
