Also a Tegra X1 would melt a 5.5-inch screen chasis in about 30 minutes. It needs to be bigger to allow more heat to dissipate and to allow a bigger battery. A Tegra X1 is too meaty of a chip to be in a smartphone form factor, it has to be a tablet like size.

Well this thing is simply not going to fit in your pocket. Even with a smaller display, that's just not going to happen. 

So you might as well make it a little larger. Tablets are portable, this would be similar in size to an iPad mini (a tad wider, but shorter), but thicker. 

That would be fine.
