Video is not available in my country. Anyway I love the 'idea' of America. The founding principles of the country of freedom and hard work, small government and low taxes. Giving people not just the power, but the responsibility to overthrow their government should it fail them. Pretty much all of that seems to be gone now....

People who came to America came to work, and they succeeded in achieving 'the American dream' or they went back home. In my mind around 50 years before and after WW2, America was truly the land of opportunity.

Now it seems to be a self-hating eurocentric welfare state poisoned by socialism and a ridiculously aggressive foreign policy. America has adopted the worst of the left (huge government and resulting fairly high taxes) and the right (aforementioned foreign policy, insane lack of gun control etc.).

I hope America can be great again, but at the moment Australia (my country) and Switzerland appear to be the best examples of a western nation. Even with our high taxes, with a relatively small government and a lack of corruption our tax dollars seem to end up mostly in the hands of those that truly need them. There will always be doll bludgers though. They make me sick....
