Nintendo has a place in gaming, for sure, the question is this; what place is that, exactly? And how will they get there? Perhaps the most important one; how will they stay there?
Exclusives are both good and important but if you have tiny installed bases; it won't make that much of a difference in the big picture. Royalty income from other publisher/developer software is where it's at, it doesn't hurt to earn actual money on the hardware either, but that seems almost like a forgotten art in today's market.
