Is it feasible for Nintendo to create a system with power roughly on par with the XBox One in a shell the size of a 3DS XL, with battery life of more than 3 hours? Could they do it on a system that about the size of an ipad? It doesn't seem feasible to me, but I'm no expert. |
It's doable, but how much are Nintendo going to sell it for?
Also, the Tegra X1 is a powerful chipset, but its RAM bandwith is far behind the PS4 and XBO. As in, the Tegra X1's bandwith is 25.6 GB/s, versus 170 GB/s for the PS4, and 68 GB/s + 204 GB/s for the XBO (the 68 GB/s is the 8GB of DDR3, while the 204 GB/s is the 32 MB of eSRAM).
