Yes.  I forgot about that.  Though, to justify that entire story arc in Batman Beyond and his entire fetish on the subject (Apparently Batgirl and Batman has been hinted at for 50 years.) on that one episode is just stupid.  It's stupid and didn't need to be brought back here.  Batgirl putting her costume away because she got fed up with Batman (I'm against that characterization of Batman too BTW.) would have made more sense than her seducing Batman and giving up being Batgirl cause Batman isn't responding to her feelings.  It's poor characterizations and is the greatest thing Timm has done wrong.  Not just in this movie I mean.

I'd say it's somewhat realistic. Because of this one episode. It setup she loved him. Then add all the time that was missing between the original run and the newer episodes. Then the time jump between New Batman Adventures and Beyond. Her crush/love of Batman would of went really high. But Timm's Batman is so horrible at relasionships. With Kyle, Mask Of The Phantasm, and many other women.

He's super horrible to Terry, compared to Dick. She had to quit on Batman, because of his attitude. In some ways, Batman is a villian towards his friends. I think Timm is just trying to connect all of his stories, into one big thing. But because of the huge time jumps. And the years we wait on this stuff. It makes people go WTF with a lot of things.

No it set up that she respects him, and was told beautifully in New 52 (I fucking hate you Stewart and I hope you burn in hell).  The funny thing out of all this, is that Barbara and Dick flirted in that episode (If I'm remembering correctly, could have been the first episode) and that carried on in the rebound episodes.  It was literally out of left field when they put it in Batman Beyond cause it was a few minutes of story in the previous series that didn't amount to anything other than showing that she respects Batman.

That's the weird thing about that characterization of Batman I don't agree with.  He wasn't super bad to Terry.  He was in the first episode.  But after that it was more of "You're Batman, you have a responsibility if you want to wear that costume" kind of thing.  The whole suffocation thing came in the rebound episodes, and it was just out of touch with what they did in first series.  It was kind of "Let's make Batman do something so bad, they'll have to leave" which makes Batman such a super asshole that you can't even sympathize with him and hope he goes to Arkham.  That's not Batman.  He's not full ass to his friends and colleagues.  Barbara and Dick could have left him in a better manner than how it happened in the show.  How they handle it in the comics is way better.  Dick needed to leave because he matured and outgrew Batman.  Batman respected that and let him go.  They also have a very good relationship together.  Their "guy" talks (Not about girls) are also nice because it just shows how their relationship is.  Batman respects nobody more than Dick.  Batman is just too scared to ask for help, which Dick understands.

How Timm and crew can get Batman TAS so right, and then completely screw up later on and behind the scenes is beyond me.
