Has any third-party company had as rich a generation as Capcom?

If we're talking pure quality in games then no third party developer matches Squaresoft's 5th generation:

FF7-9
Final Fantasy Tactics
Xenogears
Vagrant Story
Chrono Cross

I'm sure there was more, but each of these games are masterpieces in their
own right.
