Well, reading between the lines, your OT is about Ash's lacking throughout the long history of the show, and I include this lacking as the chief reason for my dislike of the show, and my confusion for why one would still be interested in following such a lacking character's journey throughout the Pokemon world, when there are numerous ways of taking in Pokemon related media without having to put up with Ash. Thus, again, I feel my post was completely fair and on topic. And no, you don't have to justify to me what you like, or why you like it, I was just curious, that's all.

There's no way to spin it buddy. Your dislike of the show is and your confusion to why people like it is completely irrelevant to determining if Ash will win the Kalos League.

Wasn't spinning anything. Your own OT highlights that Ash has pretty much been at a stand still since the show started. What's wrong with questioning why people would be interested in following that "progress" for this long? Clearly, as stated throughout the thread, fans of the show are thrilled to see him finally not suck and actually be competent, maybe enough so to win it all. So if that's true, wouldn't it stand to reason that if they're so excited about his competence and strategic decisions now, that watching the show year after year without said ability must have been rather frustrating, if not downright exhausting? What's fun about watching somebody suck for 20 years?
