This site is in dire need of 'thread etiquette"

You mean doing things like bothering to proof read posts or not have titles like "You wont believe what just happened...." or "Just Stop it" Sadly there is some rules regarding these things, well there is rules about the Thread titles at least but there is not actually rules in place regarding putting effort into writing posts.

I'm perfectly fine with non-english speaking people making mistakes in posts, but when someone from UK,Ireland or US has a post written as though it was a text message with typo's and garbage throughout it... just turns me right off it, especially when some users tend to get worse at doing it when they've become upset at the thread, so it's a pseudo-intellectual rant (See... I bothered to type that into the Google box to confirm the correct spelling of Pseudo, it doesn't take that long to do people.) which contains things like "I dont know if you are trolling or genualy have no ideia how things work." I mean... that cracks me up in ways, not all of them are good.

Regarding the normal defense of this being "well, it's just a forum and not a novel" I always remember the best response of "if you type Plz instead of please because it's faster to type, then I'll say No instead of Yes for the same reason" I really do think it's a thing of respect for other users to actually bother making the smallest efforts to make your posts easier to read, it's not asking people to write novel quality stuff (knowing my luck there is probably some mistakes in this post because I'm rather tired) but it's just asking for a small amount of effort from the serial offenders would be lovely, rather than the "ma psots aer parfict, persons lveo dem!1"
