The Recipe is in the Treehouse streams, one of the ones where the asian chick was playing (not the Nintendo Minute chick, the other one, can't remember her name, she was a guest).  For the flight thing, I can sadly find no videos but IGN's NVC describes it here:  https://youtu.be/fq4Mx2Kn9XA?t=3542

I imagine they'll patch out that particular ability or otherwise make it impractical but still shows how systems in this game can interact in unique ways.
