Though very early, it does feel like Pokemon GO is a water shed moment for Nintendo. Yesterday I was listening to the radio in the car and a woman called in to say she was addicted to Pokemon GO and would be spending the weekend playing it.

The DJ responded he heard everyone is going crazy over the game.

This type of stuff I haven't heard since well 2006/07 with the Wii.

I've always felt mobile gaming was going to be more than small little advertisements for Nintendo IP ... it was going to become a central if not *the* main pillar of Nintendo's business. I think they can be one of the largest if not the large mobile game company in the world.

Mobile is where the Wii/DS crowd went, these are extremely friendly pastures for Nintendo. Look at all of the really big success mobile apps too ... most of them are cartoony games, unlike console games where the majority of successful games are violent, realistic looking action-adventure titles.
