To me it would be Animal Crossing amiibo Festival with all the build up and the troll way they revealed it. Color Splash had a precedent so I wasn't completely taken aback when I saw what it was.
In general though, yeah, Devil's Third. Atleast games like Wonderful 101 that also sold poorly were still good.
