Nobody is forcing you to put the PC in the living room or play on the couch. ;)

Why exactly do you need another $1,500 laptop if you have a desktop PC? If it is for mobile work, you need it anyway, so why even mention it in this context? And why does it have to be such an expensive laptop?

It is no rocket science to get a DS4 properly to work with Windows, there are helpful tools that do almost all the work like DS4Windows. Or you just use a 360 or XBO controller.

And of course you can lend PC games to friends. Either physical games without account binding, DRM free games (GOG.com / Humble Store) or via Steam sharing: http://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-share-your-steam-gaming-library-with-friends-and-family/

Well, that's how I like to play. I don't want to sit in a separate room to play games.

Well, because I cannot move my desktop around the house. Not just work but I watch movies on the bed or in my living room on my laptop (how else do I watch game of thrones in my living room?).

DSWindows has a rating of 5/10 based on 76 reviews online. My guess is that it does not work well. And I don't like the Xbox controller.

Mate, I just want to give them a disc to play. Lots of games now use Steam authentication and Steam sharing was made to be a hassle to discourage people from sharing. You have to authorize the computers as well. It's only realistically useful if you live in the same household.

So you don't want a PC in any room, got it.

You don't need a $1.500 laptop to watch some movies. There are dozens of ways how you can watch game of thrones in your living room. Amazon TV stick, ChromeCast, Roku stick, USB-Stick, home console (you don't have to throw all your consoles away if you add a PC to your gaming options), $200 tablet, $300 laptop...

"I don't like the Xbox controller" is a knockout argument. At least you have the option on PC for almost any other controller, most consoles don't give you that choice. How would you like it, if some people come in every Playstation thread and disturb the discussions there with arguments like "But I don't like the DS4 controller"?

You have to authorize the computer of a friend ONCE, not every time he wants to play one of your games. That's not a "hassle to discourage people from sharing" and neither "only realistically useful if you live in the same household."

But why am I trying to set things straight, you'll never give up your prejudices against PC anyways.
