With the Xbox Scorpio and PS4 Neo touting 4K, I have a feeling that's gonna become the norm.

But then again, most people still have TVs that only have 1080p instead of 4K, and the price of 4K TVs doesn't help (the cheapest I found at BestBuy is at least $600).

Plus, I don't know if many people are happy with the idea of having to get a brand new TV just for the new consoles.

Anyway, to get to the point, Nintendo would like to reach a wider audience with the NX, which is hopefully more powerful than the PS4, but what if releasing so soon before the PS4 Neo and Scorpio isn't a good move? Should Nintendo delay it to the 2017 Holiday season so they can make the NX as powerful as it needs to be? Or should they just go with their current plan for a March 2017 release?

The NX is a gen 9 console. It is going to be something with an entirely new controller, interface... it's brand new from top to bottom. The Neo and Scorpio are PS4/Xbox Ones. They're not going to be next generation machines. So the idea that Nintendo should change their launch plans for non-competeing consoles doesn't make any sense to me.

I think everyone's getting the Neo/Scorpio thing wrong and falling for corporate BS. They're just revisions.
