Also, opposing gay marriage, abortion for women and transgender individuals right to go to the restroom that corresponds to the gender they identify with are just a few examples of when so-called christian politicians regulate people´s everyday life in america while referencing (right or wrong) god as their guide. It´s not about Islam in anyway, it´s about people´s hunt for power of others and their use of religion to do so.
