Yeah, it did sound very very scripted and rehearsed a lot, I guess they would have to do that because he wouldn't just agree to go on with someone without first discussing all of the stuff which is obviously off limits such as talk about the NX or mentioning the words Star, Fox or Zero to just win the argument outright, Take Lylat wars, make it look beautiful, destroy it with controls which are just a barrier to playing.
