I figured. I would imagine it being it frustrating that the industry moves against you. But you can't just ignore the shift

Thankfully even if the mainstream abandons something you're into, you can usually still find it in niche circles. For instance, games like Splatoon and Fatal Frame continue to offer motion controls this gen, and similarly even when slow-burn horror games fell out of favour with most big publishers last gen, there were still lower profile examples to enjoy.
