I'm 100% certain Nintendo could bring back motion controls with the NX home console and make them a big success again. Games like Wii Sports simply don't work without motion and Metroid profited greatly from pointer controls. Nintendo just needs to balance it correctly and make the controls more precise (which should be no problem considering Wiimotion+ was released 7 years ago and technology has improved since then). I want to play the next Wii Sports and the next complex 3D Nintendo game - each with their perfect control scheme. |
