2D Mario with a big budget behind it
Open World 3D Mario (or something that's closer to open world at least)
More Zeldas like Breath of the Wild (I like that direction)
Wii Sports 2
Quirky but mass-market approved stuff like Rhythm Heaven

In general, the direction Nintendo took with software on the DS was what I liked the most. A good mix of pick-up and play games and heavy hitters. Lots of software aimed at the mass market.

One way the industry is overshooting customers right now is with play-time. Games are expensive and thus have to be long to be considered worth the price but there's a huge number of people like me who can't invest too much time into gaming. 5-10 hours of playtime (at a lower price) is perfect for me. I'm actively looking for shorter games.
