So a thread only makes sense to you if the TC is for or against something?

And someone can only use the term "we" when you consider yourself a member of the party?  Are you the type of person who gets mad at reviewers who don't start every sentence with, "In my opinion,...."

We - who? By just saying "we" you are including everyone. If someone said "We men believe all women should stay in the kitchen" - I would absolutely not want to be included in that we.

No you are not including everyone by saying "we." You are being vague, but you are in fact only including those who you intend to represent. Look at your expample. You said, "We men...". That is specifying a specific group. I wouldn't want to be included in that group, and I would be offended. I would be offended if someone said, "We blacks", or "We heterosexuals", or "We gamers." Because I then know that I am being misrepresented.

Also the TC only makes sense - if he makes sense. What is the context or point of the story? I couldn't find that.

So if this is "We nintendo fans" then I don't want to be in that group either. He could have gone with "I" or "my friends" or "some peoples I have talked to" to  create a group of people. To just start off with "we" is just strange.

I agree with this, but he didn't say "We Nintendo fans." I'm as big a Nintendo fan as anyone, but I didn't feel like the TC was speaking for me, because he could have represented another group.

As for people that say "in my opinion" it depends. "I find the playstation 4 to be garbage" is very different than "The playstation 4 is garbage". One is clearly an opinion, and the other is someone trying to make it a fact.

I get your point. I guess I see both statements as clear opinions. Someone who is trying to make such a statement as fact would say something along the lines of "Everyone knows the Playstation 4 is garbage," or "There's no changing the fact that the PS4 is garbage." But I'm not saying you're wrong, because like I said, that is just my interpretation and my opinion.
