Also when he says that fans should buy one now... really does the think that there are Nintendo fans who have been on the verge of buying it for the last 4 years but now that they are pulling the plug on the tiny amount of support that the system has gotten he thinks that it would be a good time to jump in? Like... how much buyers remorse does he want to give his "fans" who are already clearly not brand loyale enough to have purchased the system already? Insane.

I believe the statement is please buy now before we finally do a proper price cut.

Could be shortened to "Please buy" ... or even just "please" :D
