That is nuts that the Wii-U is close on to being the most expensive of the 3 systems, in fact considering the fact that MK8 is cheaper than Uncharted 4 if bought alone that bundle is the most expensive for a console.... insanity.

Edit - Right after taking another look at the offerings from Argos the Wii-U is without a doubt the most expensive of the 3 current gen consoles they're offering. Just, crazy to try to recommend buying one of those right now over the X1 or the PS4.

Ah, you took a deeper look into it. It's crazy to think that nintendo is charging what they are compared to the competition and the fact that their console is their worst selling ever. Since the NX is right around the corner and nintendo is not doing any deals, retailers are likely to give the console away to clear inventory. I doubt they'll sell half of it before nx hits shelves to be honest. 

Also think about it this way, they've been left with a ton of pretty much unsellable Wii-U models now, with no rebate from Nintendo they're left with the choice of either holding onto the worthless stock or else taking the hit from it themselves and reducing the price. Considering Nintendo isn't exactly great at PR this could be a bad move when it comes to convincing stores to even begin ordering in the NX system, once bitten twice shy and all that.

But yeah when you look at that X1 model with Ori and it has the Rare Replay collection with it, I mean that is 31 games, some of the rare replay stuff are full X360 games too, so absolutesly tons to do with the system for €70 less than the price of the Wii-U, also Argos have an offer of €12 for 3 months of Xbox live with a new console, so if you get that as well you'll have 6 more titles from the Games with Gold on the X1, so a far more powerful console with 36 more games... for €56 less. And the obvious fact that the X1 has a future where as the Wii-U clearly hasn't had one for some time.

Would be an insane time to decide to buy a Wii-U now imo.
