I'll be honest to me it still looks like a basic Zelda game to me, just with a much larger world and perhaps the influence of games like Far Cry/Skyrim, which is to be expected because the Wii U is so much better tech wise than the GameCube/Wii.
Remember the Zelda series hasn't really had a generational leap in processing power since 2003 with Wind Waker really, that's like 13 years ago (!) now.
Don't get me wrong it looks good, but it looks more like they are catching up to where the rest of the industry has been for a while.
I'll be impressed if the more sci-fi-ey theme at the beginning actually factors into the game and its environments (as in you can travel into a tech-filled future). *That* would pretty bold for the Zelda series.
