I'm sorry, but they were absolutely cringey. That woman being overly excited just walking around in Minecraft? Those guys losing their shit because *gasp* their character was climbing a ladder onto the ship? Ridiculous.

I'm sorry a large community dedicated to XBOne had an opinion you don't like. But, you can't blame on "trolls" or GAF, or it being a mixed community like VGC. /r/XboxOne is a dedicated XBOne subreddit and the 4500 members that were active that day said the MS conference was rubbish. And they didn't rationalize it with "god forbid people on stage playing social games". They recognized the cringe and called it what it was.

That's not to say that the opinions there are end all, be all. Just that the opinion that MS had a good show is a minority opinion, even amongst Xbox fans.

It seems you are not aware how kids these days play Minecraft.

Yes, it was stupid for you and me, and most of forum dwelers.

I don't even care what people say it's a good or bad show. Belive you or not there are people that just want to know about games and technologie, not Orchestra presentation.

Should Microsoft stage a Kanye West show and invite Cirq du Solei? Show misterious trailers for 2 or 3 years away games? Play with nostalgia of old games and franchises?

Well, Microsoft has has done all of that in the past, and might do it again in the future. But with Scorpio down the line MS had to fucuses on imidiate results. The more ambiscious games will have to wait until next year.

That was just accompanying the games. Background music. Other than the pause to give moments of respect to the victims of Orlando, and bringing out Kojima (which, in of itself was a game announcement), it was literally nothing but back to back to back games for an hour and 15 minutes straight.

If that's all people care about, then I don't see the issue. Better than a dude coming out making a fool out of himself, shouting like he's getting  ready for a WWE match (Tekken 7 presentation), for a game that was announced for consoles literally 2 years ago.
