That's the thing, I don't feel free to believe. I feel like a slave to anxiety. :(
I think part of the reason is that I just want it so damn badly, and I'm not good at coping with disappointment so I build this wall of pessimism to protect myself from being let down.
But hey, while I'm on a positive roll, how about this; if what we've seen so far is representative of the final experience, I honestly think this could be finally be the Zelda that dethrones Ocarina, and since I consider Ocarina one of the top 10 games ever made, I don't say that lightly.

10/10 Well done, I would read it again.
I don't want to be telling this a lot so I don't look like an idiot if the game turns to be just good, but honestly I had the exact same feeling, I really think this one could do it, in my case I think this could even dethrone Wind Waker, wich is my personal favourite and it even looks kind of similar in some ways. Just better and way more innovative for the saga.

I'm going to really make a conscious effort to be less pessimistic from now on. I have wallowed in it for far too long, and it's not healthy.
I may not be able to get rid of my fears, but I guess I can try to hold back from expressing them all the time.
I think what really gives Breath of the Wild the potential to be a new highpoint for the series is that it really feels like they've thrown out the rulebook and are no longer adhering to the conventions that made games like Skyward and Twilight, as excellent as they were, rather predictable. The series now has a chance to grow and explore new territory, and it seems they're taking full advantage of the opportunity.
