I have all my fingers, toes, hairs, and neurons crossed that this does come to Wii U, because it looks amazing.
I really underestimated just how far they'd diverge from the established Zelda formula. The freedom and interactivity of the world, the survival/resource management elements, the way the world is full of things to do/collect/kill, all seem brilliantly done.
I expected it to be great, but not to be such a bold departure from series tradition. A very pleasant surprise.
