IMHO it would be much smarter to present this game as a Resident Evil spin-off instead of the official successor of RE6.
If it is a spin-off, people tend to be more open for changes in the gameplay and perspective. Could have saved them from shitstorms of the fans of "Resident Evil (please insert number)", who want the same experience as they favorite game of the series.
