Because W10 is an upgrade in a lot of ways and a downgrade in a lot of ways.  It's a much more intrusive and controlling system than W7, so I can't fault anyone for avoiding it.  It's not like it's a clear upgrade across the board.

Agreed, but if we then choose to stay with the old OS, we will need to accept that we won´t be able to take part in all the new things releasing on the newer OS. I would much rather that MS focus all their resources on the new release instead of spreading out their resources across several OS´s.
